The Elie Garden
This is the result of several weeks’ hard work in the hot sunshine in July in beautiful Elie in Fife. Water Gems Foreman, Michael, led a team to realise the design of Carolyn Grohmann of Secret Gardens and transform a long, sloping back garden. Using industrial rebar, Nick E wove and welded it into retaining walls for the flowerbeds, which were planted up with a variety of plants and shrubs. Millboard composite decking boards were laid to create a stunning path and steps the full length of the split-level, terraced garden. And contrasting with the dark path is the bright, fresh green of the newly turfed lawns. A terrace next to the house allows the clients to sit and enjoy the best view of their beautiful, new garden.
