Rosyth Boating Lake Regeneration

Rosyth boating lake was a bleak, shallow concrete pool which was drained most of the time. See the photo which looks more like a car park than a boating lake! We designed the wetland and boardwalk and planted it up. Although, on an early February morning, it still looks a bit grey, it won’t do once the pool is full and the flag iris, water mint and loosestrife are all green and start to flower. Thanks to Kevin Clark for his help with the boardwalk and the project generally.
